Beavers Walk For Water

1st Brixham Beavers walk from Berry Head, back to Scala hall via Shoalstone and the Coastal path to Support Water Aid.

This was to support Water Aids ‘Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)’ campaign to raise awareness of the work Water Aid do to increase awareness of water and sanitation issues and to raise money to support Scouts in Madagascar who are working with their communities, local organisations and the government to help improve access to clean water and sanitation across their country, where over half of the population has no choice but to drink water so dirty it could kill them.

Whilst walking the Beavers carried bottles of Water, to gain a better understanding what children in Madagascar go through to get clean drinking water.

Beavers also learned how to use maps and a Compass.
